WORKSHOP FACILITATION PORTFOLIO

Exploring Resonance and Dissonance as a Way of Deep Connection

Overview: Through the use of the human voice, this workshop explores the somatic experience of connecting with sound. Participants will draw connections between harmony in vocal expression and social relationship building. What does it mean to be in resonance versus dissonance? How can these different ways of harmonizing inform the ways we connect with each other? This workshop will challenge participants to let go of prescribed understandings of what vocal expression is and step into intuitive creative relationship building.

Last offered at School of the Alternative, 2024.

Water as a Being, Mentor, and Friend

Overview: Water has memory. Water connects us all. Water is healing. This workshop asks participants to reflect on their personal relationship to Water in an effort to dismantle colonial mindsets of resource commodification. How will we show up differently if we relate to and learn from Water as a being, mentor, friend?

Last offered at The Eco Institute, 2022.
